Sleepless Nights and Sun filled days

I can't even begin to tell you the last night that I slept through peacefully.
Most nights, I am up till about 4 or 5 a.m sketching, painting or just doodling my random thoughts down in notebooks. Usually when I look back at most of it, it all just seems like incoherent babble, but made perfect sense at the time. I'm not sure where my head is right now and I feel like I need to share what I'm feeling with others but I truly can't. I mean I never ever wanted this to be anything but an art blog, but let's face it..most days life gets in the way and you just need an outlet to vent! I have secrets buried deep in my heart that I can barely admit to myself, much less to anyone else. But everyone has secrets, I suppose, that's just what makes us definitely babbling at this point!

OK, so that was a mild melt-down. Back to business now. This day began for me at 5 a.m as well. While waiting for my coffee to brew, I managed to get this really messy watercolor down in my little sketchbook. I messed up on the hair but didn't want to play around with it at that point! If only all days could stay this peaceful, warm and invitingly bright..

xoxo with love.

Hey Pudd!! Oh my little sister. All is going to be well. Sure you have to do what you've got to do right now to hold things down, but you are a winner!!! Honestly I really feel that for you. You know, when you finally get up one day to speak to a classroom of kids or collage students asking how you got to where you are going( Cards, books, gifts and packaging and more) You will have a story to tell and it won't be filled with all things wonderful and good. Nobody wants to hear that. What they will want to know is how you made it through and still got up in morning and went to work and found time to do the thing that you love. I know it's hard right now, but good things are on the way. You are doing your artwork and that means you are still in creative mode. I just love, love, love this watercolor piece that you did. It's perfect!!!! You know it's sometimes the really messy pieces that we do in our stretch books that are at times the master pieces. I love the softness of this. It's beautiful just like you. You have got to keep your head up. Doing a little bit at a time is better than not doing anything at all. You are right were you are suppose to be my friend. Really you are. You just can't see it right now. One day you will. Be encouraged!
Love you
